Candle Care Guide
A brief guide to help you care for your oyster candle and preserve its beauty and essence.
Before Lighting

Place the candle on a Ocean Áltar balanging base, or in a place heat-resistant surface.

Trim the wick to 3 mm (¼”) for a clean, even flame (for better burning).
While Burning

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the shell to avoid tunneling.

Do not burn for more than 2–3 hours at a time.
​​

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
After Use

Extinguish gently, never with water.

Let the wax cool completely before moving.
​

Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Re-use

Once finished, remove any wax residue with hot water.

The oyster shell can be repurposed as a jewelry dish, incense holder, or decorative piece.
