Before Lighting

Place the candle on a Ocean Áltar balanging base, or in a place heat-resistant surface.

Trim the wick to 3 mm (¼”) for a clean, even flame (for better burning).
While Burning

Allow the wax to melt to the edges of the shell to avoid tunneling.

Do not burn for more than 2–3 hours at a time.
​​

Never leave a burning candle unattended.
After Lighting

Extinguish gently, never with water.
​

Let the wax cool completely before moving.
​

Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Re-use

Once finished, remove any wax residue with hot water.

The epoxy resin used in these pieces is water-resistant and withstands moderate heat (up to approximately 50–70 °C / 120–160 °F).​​
